The Lord of the Rings - "Der Grüne Ring"

Remember the famous “White Ring”, an alpine classic ski race in the Lech-Zuers area? As per the Guiness Book of Records the 22 km (15 miles) it is the longest ski-race in the world. Well, this same route including the Ruefikopf, the Madloch and the Kriegerhorn has now been designated as the “Green Ring”, but instead of skiboots you will wear your hiking boots, and speed is NOT of the essence, but rather an open eye for the beauty and serenity of alpine pastures, flora and fauna. And also be ready to be inspired by fairy tales and stories of the past along the path. All of this in the spirit of “back to the roots” and enjoying the moment: Carpe diem!
