Chef Spanring has been the head of the kitchen for many years. He mentors his young and engaged team in a most modern environment and they always succeed to delight our guests with harmonically balanced dishes.
Our team composes daily specialized menus for our guests. Included in your booking is a „gemuetlicher“ (comfortable) evening around a fondue-pot in the „Berghof-Stueble“, the traditional wood-panelled familial dining locale. A weekly Austrian Specialties Buffet and our special Gala evening on Fridays round out the week.
The in-house pastry shop produces fresh daily creations for dessert and Austrian „Apfel-Strudel“, cakes and other goodies for the afternoon to accompany a cup of cappuccino, exotic tea or hot chocolate.
Choosing the ingredients for our dishes we rely on local producers, many of whom we know personally. This supports the local economy and helps the environment.
Our innovative technology in the kitchen are the latest generations available in the field. To illustrate, kitchen- and foodwaste are used to produce electric energy, and UV radiation of the fat-ladden kitchen exhaust air allows us to regain its heat through a heat exchanger.
