For years, Lech-Zürs has been inspiring people with culture and therefor is very much appreciated by culture-savvy guests. Top-class artists perform at events such as the Lech Classic Festival or the Lech Jazz Stage. On the occasion of the Philosophicum, well-known philosophers philosophize on a wide variety of topics.

The work of art designed by James Turrell awakens a completely new feeling of space, time and consciousness. This unique work of art can be found at the “Tannegg”. For almost 10 years, the Lech Classic Festival has been delighting its guests with internationally renowned vocal and instrumental soloists. The year 2021 will be dedicated to the most famous works by Ludwig van Beethoven. Thus, the 250-year anniversary of last year, which had to be canceled due to coronavirus will be made up for. The Lech jazz stage has been delighting top-class jazz musicians since 2015. The idea comes from the locals Philip and Laurens Waldhart, who want to share their passion for music. The focus is on all variations of jazz without leaving out the contemporary. Jazz musicians with an international reputation play in front of a maximum of 200 visitors and give this event a very familiar atmosphere.

Since 1997, over 600 people interested in philosophy have met every autumn for a four-day conference. Annually changing topics have been inspiring from the start and have increased the number of participants by six. Last year the topic “As if!” had to be postponed to the coming autumn due to corona. Among others, the question of how fictions affect different areas of our lives should be clarified. For more information (in German only)
