We choose the new “Lecher Festwein” for the up-coming year in a public tasting with our friends from the partner towns Hakuba Happo, Kampen and Beaver Creek.
Start: 2.00 p.m. at the Berghof restaurant
The idea was born in 1993, as a few hoteliers from Lech and Zürs visited the “Retzer wine week”. After that, they invited some wine growers to Lech. These encounts are the impulse for a deep friendship with people from all around the world, who are creating an own wine brand – such as the Lecher Festwein.
Lech started its first friendship with Happo, Hakuba on the occasion of the Olympic games in 1998 in Japan. In 2000, the cooperation between Kampen in northern Germany was born and in 2001, Beaver Creek (Colorado) joined this friendship. The “Lecher Festwein” is served in selected hotels and restaurants.
By the way: On the 13th of April, the “Sisters Resort Party” takes place at the sport.park.lech. Try the typical meals of the Partner towns and enjoy live music.
