Hosts Stefan and Isabelle Burger have created a chic, alpine francophile oasis for epicures in Lech am Arlberg. Both the separate lunch and dinner menus know how to convince. If necessary, you can order the best of both times of the day. After a Negroni cocktail from a wooden barrel and a spicyly manufactured cheese praline as an amuse gueule, there was a delicious salad as well as scallops with parsnips. The consommé of beef is served with a choice of semolina-dumplings or cheese-dumplings. The pea-mint-foam soup was also delicious. The local mountain pond trout was finished with saffron foam and accompanied by a herb risotto. One would not want to miss the pink cooked duck breast (from the farmer Innauer from Eichenberg) with an excellent almond-broccoli-tagliatelle-triology. The finale was a creation of strawberry, lemon and chocolate from the innovative pâtisserie, which was also visually very successful. Head sommelier Günther Meindl has a wine cellar well stocked with around 600 positions. The superbly designed bar menu has signature digestifs to suit even the most discerning of contemporaries. “
